ABOUT MSC
Features of Mesenchymal stem
cell (MSC) treatment
Features of treatment
| Procedure method | Stem cells are collected from your fat and cultured. They are then administered via either intravenous (IV) drip or injection. |
|---|---|
| Side effects | Your own immune cells are cultured and then returned to your body, so there are minimal side effects. |
| Recovery time | None |
| Surgery | None (Collection of fat requires a 2-mm incision) |
| Hospitalization | None |
| Number of visits | 3 (In the case of multiple doses: 3 visits + Number of doses) |
| Procedure duration | First round: 3 hours, then 90 minutes for each round after that |
Treatment process
-
Your cells are collected
-
They are cultured (for approx. 3–4 weeks), and hundreds of millions of stem cells are created
-
Your cultured stem cells are directly administered via IV drip or injection

Risks
We administer stem cells that are collected from your own fat and then cultured, so there is minimal risk of them being rejected or turning cancerous.
- Please refrain from consuming alcohol before consultations or having your blood collected.
- If you have an infectious disease, you will be unable to undergo the procedure.
- You may feel pain at the incision site for a few days following the collection of fat.
- During the administering of stem cells, you may experience pain, redness, and swelling from the injection.
- There is a chance that you may experience internal bleeding, pain, and/or infection at the fat collection site, as well as internal bleeding, numbness, and/or an allergic reaction at the blood collection or IV drip site.
We provide two types of treatments:
“adipose-derived stem cells” and “fibroblast”
Anti-aging regenerative medicine
Adipose-derived stem cell therapy
Repair damaged tissue
Restore various physical functions that have declined with age
Stem cells injected into the bloodstream circulate within the blood vessels. They gather at site of the injury within the body, enter the affected cells, and suppress inflammation. They have the ability to seek out and repair damaged tissue. This is called “homing” and is effective in the treatment of a wide range of ailments.

Facial rejuvenation medicine
Fibroblast therapy
We culture your own fibroblasts and improve your skin from the inside
This treatment involves collecting fibroblasts from your body, multiplying and culturing them at our specialist facility, and transplanting them into the areas of your skin that you are concerned are aging. The fibroblasts then improve your skin from the inside by decreasing signs of aging such as deep wrinkles, sagging, and hollows in your skin.
Transplanting fibroblasts promotes the proliferation and differentiation of skin cells, resulting in skin with increased elasticity, clarity, and hydration.

Process of mesenchymal stem
cell (MSC) treatment
-
Step 1 Before coming to Japan Blood tests (blood collection)
Please have the following blood tests (five tests) performed before coming to Japan and send a message with the results to Blu Clinic.
(1) HIV
(2) HBS

During your counselling, we will ask you about your symptoms or concerns, and the doctor will make a thorough diagnosis. During this consultation, we will also explain about regenerative medicine and the specifics of the procedure in more detail.
-
Step 3 1st visit Collection of blood from fat cells
An incision of a few millimeters is made in your abdomen or other area, and a small number of cells (1–3g) are collected. A local anesthesia is used, so pain is minimal.
Blood (200-400cc) will also be collected. -
Step 4 Stem cell culturing
The culturing of stem cells is carried out at the specialized cell processing enterprise entrusted by Blu Clinic.
-
Step 5 2nd visit Stem cell administration
6 weeks later, we will administer the stem cells.
Additional administration is an extra ¥1,500,000 per round
-
Step 6 3rd visit Follow-up examination
We will give you a prognosis 6 months after the final administration of stem cells. (If you are receiving 2 or more rounds, it will be a continuation of stem cell administration rather than a follow-up examination.)
